Just Ate — Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms form part of the Terms of Use.
1.What Just Ate Premium includes
Just Ate offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("Just Ate Premium"). The free tier includes a limited number of AI food logs and basic statistics. Premium unlocks features such as unlimited AI logging, full meal history, weekly review, smart corrections, "what to eat next" suggestions, and Siri/Apple Watch conveniences. The exact features included are shown on the in-app subscription screen before you purchase.

- Prices are shown in your local currency on the subscription screen before you confirm purchase, and may vary by region and by Apple's currency and tax rules.
- Free trial: 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price above. If you begin a trial or subscription during a current free period, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
3.How billing works (auto-renewable subscription)
Just Ate Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. By subscribing, you authorise the following, in line with Apple's App Store rules:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal charge: Apple charges your Apple Account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your subscription continues until you cancel.
4.Managing and cancelling your subscription
- You manage and cancel your subscription in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or in the App Store app under your account.
- To avoid being charged for the next period, turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access to Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.
- You cannot cancel the current subscription during the active period; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
5.Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies, not by us. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. We generally cannot issue refunds directly for App Store purchases.
6.Price changes
If we change subscription prices, the new price will not take effect until your next renewal period, and Apple will notify you and, where required, ask you to confirm the new price before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
7.Payment provider and data
Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. We receive from Apple the subscription status needed to unlock and restore Premium features, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8.Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use "Restore Purchases" on the subscription screen to restore an active subscription tied to your Apple Account.
